Owners of Malaysian MPV advised to send their cars in to check for potential radiator connector leakage

Proton has launched a 'Free Inspection Service' for Proton Exora Bold CFE made between October 2011 until April 2014 due to a possible leakage in the radiator connector. No accidents or injuries related to this issue have been reported, with Proton responding to customer feedback by taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the 40,000 owners affected.

“The Free Inspection Service especially for the Proton Exora Bold CFE owners is an example of the commitment we place on our customers’ safety and the reliability of our vehicles under PROTON Quality Assurance Programme. We hope our customers understand that this exercise is necessary to ensure their continued confidence in the safety and performance of their vehicles,” said Proton CEO Datuk Abdul Harith Abdullah

Owners of the affected cars are advised to book an appointment with any authorised Proton service centres as soon as possible to rectify the issue. The service is free of charge, after all.
