Proton introduces smartphone application

MyProton provide owners convenience during the course of car ownership

Proton has come up with their own app for customers and it is called MyProton. What it is designed to be is offer convenience to Proton customers throughout their ownership of Proton cars. MyProton is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

“Leveraging on our customers increasing sophistication, we at PROTON can provide easy access for customers to retrieve information at their fingertips. We understand that in today’s highly connected environment, the best way to reach and update as well as to service our customers better would be through a Mobile App. It is a natural progression to connect with our customers more efficiently and effectively.” said Dato’ Ahmad Fuaad Kenali, Chief Executive Officer of Proton.

The specific functions in the app can help customers to:

·   Set appointment to test drive Proton cars;
·   Set appointment for car service;
·   Establish connection to Mobile Assist call centre for assistance;
·   Give information on all Proton models;
·   Offer update on current promotions and events;
·   Present location of all Proton sales and services outlets;
·   Make connection to Proton social media channels – Facebook, Instagram and Youtube; and,
·   Access a loan calculator

With the same app, Proton plans to provide customers of their car's booking status as well as vehicle service history. Additionally, the app should also be able to offer reminders regarding the next service. All this will be in the next phase of development.
