There are two new additions to the Volkswagen Passat now – the Trendline PLUS and Comfortline PLUS.

What PLUS does is bring changes to the interior and exterior, although no difference comes to the 1.8-litre, 180ps and 250Nm engine.

The Passat PLUS comes with luxurious leather seats, RM8,000 worth of window tint, and 17-inch Istanbul alloy wheels. The Comfortline PLUS, meanwhile, features 18-inch Monterey alloy wheels, together with window tint worth RM12,000.

And just until 30 September 2017, purchase of the Passat PLUS comes with a purchase loan interest rate that is as low as 0.88 per cent, between five to nine years. Having said that, the entire Passat sedan range comes with a 5-year free maintenance, or 75,000km after sales package, but this is valid as long as the registration is by 30 September 2017.

The Passat Trendline PLUS retails at RM144,990, while the Passat Comfortline PLUS is RM169,980.
