The 2022 Yamaha X-Max now comes in Icon Grey and Power Grey

For those looking for an alternative for your daily commutes to and from the office, but you don't want to get stuck in traffic or pay tolls, you might be interested in the 2022 Yamaha X-Max. This 250cc maxi-scooter from Yamaha has been updated for this year with some minor but tasteful changes.

For 2022, the Yamaha X-Max 250cc scooter offering now comes in two new colour options - Icon Grey and Power Grey. Besides the new colourways, Hong Leong Yamaha has also updated its smart key remote design as well as fitting it with new smoke flasher lens.

Underneath all that jazz lies a 250cc single-cylinder SOHC engine which produces 22.5hp and 24.3Nm of torque. Other notable specs include ABS< traction control, a large underseat storage, and of course, the TMax's design DNA (but at a much more affordable price range).

Speaking of price, Hong Leong Yamaha has priced its updated 2022 Yamaha X-Max 250 at RM21,998 (excluding insurance, road tax, and registration). That's slightly cheaper compared to when the bike was launched here in Malaysia back in 2018 at around RM22,500.
