Woah: the Perodua Aruz will cost Singaporeans RM286k

By daryl, 13 April 2021

Singapore is known for getting the latest cars in the market ahead of us. But that's not the case for Malaysian makes. Two full years after making its debut on local shores, the Perodua Aruz has finally touched down across the causeway. And our poor Singaporean friends will have to fork out a whopping SGD92,999 for the seven-seat SUV, inclusive of GST and COE.

That's a mind-blowing RM286,400 by today's exchange rates for a car that only costs about RM70k on our side of the fence. You can buy the recently-launched BMW X3 sDrive20i for roughly the same price in Malaysia. The Myvi is also sold in the island nation, and you'll have to fork out a mouth-watering SGD69,800 (RM215,200) for the 1.5L variant.

Do you feel lucky now, fellow Malaysians?
