VW offers special deals for Covid-19 frontliners
Are you both a VW owner and serving on the frontlines of Covid-19? Then good news for you as Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) have expanded its 'Welcome Back' initiative just for you.
To refresh your memory, VW's 'Welcome Back' program see owners able to book their post-MCO service appointments online and via the Volkswagen Cares mobile app, to which various rewards are also up for grabs.
Today's announcement sees VPCM expand on that especially for Covid-19 frontliners. Up for grabs here is a complimentary car sanitization and a 10% discount off the total bill (terms and conditions apply).
VW owners who are Covid-19 frontliners are required to indicate their respective occupational areas when registering online, after which a VW personnel will be in touch to verify. Once approved, the additional benefits will be credited into their Volkswagen Cares App wallet and will be ready to be used for their pre-booked appointment.
However, take note that the appointment MUST be made within 30 days after the government's on-going Movement Control Order/Movement Restriction Order (MRO) is lifted.
For those curious, VPCM have set out a clear guideline on frontliners allowed to apply. These include personnel serving as government hospitals doctors, nurses and administrators, Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers, Malaysian Armed Forces (Angkatan Tentera Malaysia), RELA (People’s Volunteer Corps) and Malaysia Civil Defense (Angkatan Pertahanan Awam).
