UMW Toyota continues strong sales momentum, 6432 units sold in February

UMW Toyota's Feb 2022 sale was 27% higher compared to the same month in 2021

UMW Toyota is riding that upward sales momentum after having successfully delivered 6,366 units for Toyota and 66 units for Lexus last month. Compared to the same period back in 2021 (5,026 Toyotas, 48 Lexus), Feb 2022 saw quite a significant jump of 27%.

Holding firm to Malaysia's number 1 non-national automotive brand, UMW Toyota plans to continue this positive performance via other promotions and sales from across its model offerings, including their best-sellers, the Vios and Yaris. The Corolla Cross range as well as the newly-launched facelifted Camry have also gained some positive feedback as well.

According to Ravindran K, President of UMW Toyota Motor, "We truly appreciate the support our customers have given towards the Toyota brand and are optimistic about the continuous growth of the Malaysian automotive sector. As we continue to innovate and bring mobility products offering the absolute best technology and safety that enhances lifestyles, we trust that Malaysians will continue to choose Toyota as their preferred road companion."

Apart from a number of CSR programs, UMW Toyota is also upping its aftersales services by launching a new 2S outlet with Body & Paint services in Skudai, Johor. The year is still young, we're pretty sure that there will be more exciting things to come from them, including the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival. The fifth season is set to kick off from 18-20 March 2022.
