The 2022 Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost is here in Malaysia - From RM1.8 million

I’m seeing stars—literally—sparkling down from roof-mounted of the 2022 Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost. As I gaze up, I spot a shooting star coursing its way across the roof lining. Looking forward, I’m awed by the illuminated passenger-side dashboard replete with 850 twinkly LEDs.

And yes, that is just one of the greatest features of this British carmaker.

The latest addition to the line-up is the Black Badge Ghost, an edgier incarnation of the archetypal Rolls-Royce saloon. The visual differences are subtle but powerful. Gone is the bright chrome finish on the grille and the Spirit of Ecstasy ornament, which are now both clad in what looks like smoked bronze.

The rest of the car comes in any colour you like, although most customers choose black. And when Rolls-Royce say black, they mean it: the paintwork weighs in at 45kg – a small but significant contribution.

Furthermore, a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 endows the most successful Rolls-Royce nameplate to date with 592bhp and 900Nm of torque. A “Low” button situated on the gear selection stalk acts as the Sport mode and from 1,700rpm and gearshift speeds increased by 50%.

The car also rides on 21-inch composite wheels made up of 44 layers of carbon fibre. There are aerospace-grade titanium fasteners and floating hubcaps, with the Double R monogram remaining upright at all times when the wheels are in motion.

Other highlighted features include:
 -Illuminated Fascia
 -Technical Fibre ‘Waterfall’
 -Black Badge Ghost’s Champagne cooler

Finally, before tax and your driver’s salary, this Black Badge Ghost checks in at RM1.8 million without tax and options and Black Badge Ghost is available for preview through authorised Rolls-Royce Motor Cars dealerships. And for your information, there is only one unit in Malaysia.
