You don't have to worry about shifting gears with the 2021 BMW C 400 X & C 400 GT scooters

BMW Motorrad Malaysia is on a roll today as they unveil the latest 2021 BMW C 400 X and C 400 GT scooters together with the new BMW R 1250 GS and BMW G 310 models. Those who are in the market for some premium-looking 'urban mobility' options should definitely check out the new BMW C 400 models.

Both models have been revised in terms of power delivery, stopping performance, as well as some other internal bits and pieces to further elevate the brand's scooter offering no matter if you're cruising around the cities or travelling on highways and through borders.

The C 400 X comes with the large asymmetric LED headlight upfront, which has been a signature look for the mid-sized scooter (and other models, C 400 GT has that very aggressive and modern twin-light setup) since its introduction. They have been enhanced with the addition of daytime running lights for better safety and visibility no matter day or night.

It all depends on your taste whether you prefer something a bit more suited for urban environments like packed cities, or if you travel a lot on the open roads and highways. If the latter is your go-to, then we suggest the C 400 GT maxi-scooter for better overall comfort thanks to larger front fairings, ergonomic seats, and integrated footboards.

Both models offer the Flexcase feature, an optimised lighting system for the under-seat storage space for better visibility when it comes to looking through your stored items. There's also a 12-volt socket as well as a USB charging socket found under the seat and at the front right storage compartment respectively.

Powered by a 350cc single-cylinder engine, the new BMW C 400 scooters produce 34hp and 35Nm of torque. This powertrain is further enhanced with a revised drive for better stability as well as power delivery. There's also the electronic throttle grip called E-gas that changes a lot of things internally, which helps to improve the bike's overall optimisation for power.

The new 2021 BMW C 400 X and C 400 GT are priced at RM44,500 and RM48,500 respectively (OTR excluding insurance). You can get the C 400 X in Black Storm (Style Triple Black) while the C 400 GT is available in Black Storm (Style Triple Black), Callisto Grey, and Alpine White.
