There are three trims, priced between RM26,900 and RM27,400

Didi Group, the authorised distributor of Royal Enfield bikes in Malaysia today officially launched the Royal Enfield Scram 411 at its showroom in the Gasket Alley, Petaling Jaya.

The Scram 411 will be available in three trim levels with prices as mentioned below:

• Royal Enfield Scram 411 Base - RM26,900
• Royal Enfield Scram 411 Mid - RM27,100
• Royal Enfield Scram 411 Premium - RM27,400

The difference between every variant is only the colour scheme. While the Scram 411 Premium comes in White Flame and Silver, the Scram 411 Mid is offered in Skyline Blue and Blazing Black. Last but not least, the Scram 411 Base comes in Graphite Yellow, Graphite Red and Graphite Blue.

Powering the Scram 411 is the same LS-410 fuel-injected, 4-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled single-cylinder engine as the Royal Enfield Himalayan, producing 24.3 hp and 32 Nm of maximum torque. Sending the power to the wheels is a 5-speed transmission and a chain final drive.
 

Complementing the engine is the long travel suspension and monoshocks, 200mm ground clearance, telescopic front suspension with 41mm forks and 190mm travel, along with 180mm travel on the rear with monoshock linkages.

Stopping power comes courtesy of front and rear disc brakes that are combined with dual-channel ABS.

As for the tyres, the Scram 411 comes with 19-inch dual purpose tyres in front, and 17-inch tyres at the rear. Also part of the package is a 15-litre fuel tank, a digital combination speedometer which includes a gear indicator and a fuel gauge with low fuel warning, and 795 mm seat height.

There is also a long list of optional accessories for owners to buy, such as the Navigation Pod, side panniers, handle guards, engine guard, radiator cover, and the double stand among other components - all of which are offered with a comprehensive 3-year warranty.

If we look at the Royal Enfield product portfolio in Malaysia, the Scram 411 sits below the Himalayan 411 which is priced at RM29,400. 

There is also a long list of apparel available for customers, including jerseys equipped with additional Eva foam at the shoulder and elbow which provide impact protection for the rider.
