Rolls-Royce Cullinan gets the Carlex treatment with new Yachting Edition

Hopefully you don’t get seasick, because Polish tuning firm Carlex Design has puts its ‘Yachting Edition’ magic touch on a Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

To be fair, the Rolls off-roader is hardly a wallflower – what’s the worst you can do to a donor car that starts off as brash as this? – so the behemoth luxury SUV has taken most of the indignity in its stride.

Carlex is mostly known for its eye-searing interior modifications, but it’s had a bit of a go at tarting up the outside of the Cullinan too, just to let everyone know you’re not riding in a stock car.

Saying that, exterior modifications are fairly light touch, with a two-tone black and silver paintjob. The bottom half of the outside has been carefully hand-painted to give that brushed aluminium effect. The original wheels have been replaced with custom 22in alloys to complete the look. There’s no body kit, that’s just what the car looks like from the factory.

The inside of the Yachting Edition Cullinan gets new off-white perforated leather seats and has been carefully reupholstered throughout with tasteful brown leather and Alcantara. For the full boating effect the floors have been panelled with varnished wood (don’t forget your deck shoes).

Price is on application, but the yachting lifestyle doesn’t come cheap. Getting the car in the first place will cost you a sniff under £300k (RM1.6m), and that’s before you ship it off to Carlex to have your car gutted and refitted with a herd of newly skinned bovines. What do you think, a must-have upgrade for your Cullinan?
