Recall time, this time involving 7,050 units of 2018 Model Year Honda CR-V and its gear push knob button. Honda Malaysia has issued this recall because of a possibility that shifting from Parking to other gear positions could be difficult. Having said that, all current selling models are not affected other than the 2018 Honda CR-V.

Replacement of the gear push knob button is free of charge and all other costs associated with this recall will be borne by Honda Malaysia. Owners of the affected CR-V vehicles will be informed via notification letters and those who receive it are advised to send their vehicles in to the nearest authorised Honda dealer for inspection.
