Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM), the authorized distributor of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia has announced that every new unit of Nissan Almera Turbo will come with a free Tomei Aero Package while stocks last. 

Worth RM8,000, the package has been specially developed by Tomei of Japan, a well-known tuner which collaborated with Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM).

The Tomei Aero Package is available for all variants of the Almera Turbo – the VLT, VLP and VL – and gives an even sportier image to the sedan.  

For the Almera Turbo VLT, there’s a 5-piece Aerokit consisting of a Front Bumper Spoiler, Rear Bumper Spoiler (two pieces) and side skirts.  All the items are finished in a two-tone colour scheme for a sporty touch.

The Tomei Aero Package for the Almera Turbo VLT also includes Sport Pedals with Foot Rest which not only look sporty but provide better grip for the shoes. 

Other items in the package are Door Handle Protectors (4 pcs), a Kicking Plate for the door sills and Door Visors and ICE Cool Tinting Film to keep the cabin environment comfortable and cut out glare. 
 

For the Almera Turbo VL and VLP, the package consists of the 5-piece aerokit with the same two-tone colour scheme and three items – Boot Lid Spoiler, ICE Cool Tinting Film and Sport Pedals with Foot Rest.

All the items are factory-fitted to ensure the same high quality as the rest of the car.  Each item also comes with a warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years/100,000 km (whichever comes first).

For those who want an even sportier look, ETCM offers the Tomei GT Wing specially designed for the Almera Turbo. 

Priced at RM1,400 (inclusive of installation), the cost of the wing can be included in the total cost of the car under the financing package.  

As with the Tomei Aero Package, there is also a warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years/100,000 km (whichever comes first).

For a limited period, ETCM is offering the Tomei GT Wing to Early Bird buyers with a 50% discount, ie RM700.

Nissan has also given the Almera Turbo Beneficial Advanced Safety Tech with Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies that help a driver avoid accidents or reduce the effects of a collision.  

They include Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW), which is followed by Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking (IFEB) which occurs if the driver does not act to prevent a collision. 

With Nissan's advanced Around View Monitor (IAVM) with Intelligent Moving Object Detection (IMOD), the driver can always be aware of the surroundings while maneuvering the car.  This improves safety as other nearby road-users will be detected and obstacles that could damage the car can be spotted easily.

As with many other Nissan models, the Almera Turbo also has Zero Gravity Inspired Seats.  These have been developed to reduce fatigue when driving.

The ergonomic technology utilized was based on research by NASA (the US space agency) to achieve a neutral posture that is ideal for comfort.
