UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) today said that over 500 units of the Toyota Harrier has been delivered to customers throughout Malaysia since launch back in January 2018. Currently, the number of outstanding orders are still high, thus making the waiting period rather long.

The good news is that Toyota Motor Corporation has been understanding and increased the number of units that is delivered to Malaysia which means that waiting time for the RM243,000 SUV can be expected to be shorter.

“We understand that our customers had to wait for a longer period to get delivery of their vehicle. The global demand for the Harrier has been great right from the start and for Malaysia, it surged further during the three months of tax break. The production in Japan is now able to supply more to suit the demand and we will have more vehicles available for delivery,” said Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor.
