There are no performance enhancements though

On top of the new GLC 300e Coupe plug-in hybrid and the new Hap Seng Star dealership in Setia Alam, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also announced the introduction of the upgraded 2022 Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 earlier today.

The Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC is now equipped with Parking package with 360 degree camera, Head up display, AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather with AMG steering buttons and MBUX Interior Assistant to enhance driving experience.

On top of that, the vehicle is added with Surround lighting with projection of brand logo to showcase an attractive eye catching feature in dark surroundings.

The AMG-fettled GLB 35 sits at the very top of the GLB food chain, at least until a GLB 45 arrives, and rightly so. The RM45k premium it commands over the GLA 250 comes with an additional 82 hp and 50 Nm for a grand total of 306 hp and 400 Nm of twist.

The only AMG-branded model in the range also loses the last row of seats for good measure, and its trimmer five-seat bulk will do the century sprint in a heady 5.2 seconds as a result - just half a second off the similarly endowed A35 Sedan. Top speed is rated at 250 kph just like the sleeker sedan.

The GLB 35 4Matic rides on the adaptive AMG Ride Control suspension, which complements equally track-ready tech like its AMG Speedshift eight-speed DCT, AMG Dynamic Select, AMG Performance 4Matic AWD and even AMG-specific displays to bring MBUX up to speed with all other racy facets of the car.

That being said, the GLB 35 4MATIC comes at a recommended retail price of RM 392,582.31, with 5% Sales Tax, valid until 30th June 2022. It was previously priced at RM363,137.
