Mazda resumes service operations in Malaysia while keeping its distance

Bermaz Auto has joined the bandwagon of automotive companies rebooting their businesses midway through the seemingly perennial Movement Control Order (MCO) as restrictions are relaxed to keep the nation's economy going. And while opinions remain divided over retailers re-opening despite the ongoing threat of a pandemic, the Mazda brand custodian plans to revive its operations responsibly, with minimal physical interaction being the core of its latest initiative.

The 'Mazda Contactless Service' allows Mazda owners in Malaysia to have their cars serviced from the comforts of their home via "Collect and Deliver" or mobile service. The former is essentially a pick-up and drop-off service offered by selected service centres to customers within a 10km radius while the latter involves a mobile team servicing your Mazda at your doorstep upon prior appointment.

Bermaz added that all services offered will include a disinfection of the interior before and after the car is service. Additionally, it also confirmed that all active warranties and free service maintenance packages will have their validity extended in accordance with the full duration of the MCO.
