Fancy a 400hp supercharged mid-engine Lotus Emira V6 First Edition, anyone?

Lotus Cars Malaysia has finally announced the price and spec for its latest Lotus Emira V6 First Edition for the local market. Starting from RM1,131,000, those living in the country can get their very own Lotus Emira V6 First Edition but if you're staying in Langkawi, it's only going to cost you a reasonable RM449,800.

In terms of firepower, the latest Emira V6 is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 supercharged engine that produces a punchy 400hp and 430Nm of torque. What makes things even more interesting is the fact that it comes with a six-speed manual transmission, which we're pretty sure will excite a lot of three-pedal enthusiasts in the market today. For those who don't, there's also the optional six-speed auto with paddle-shifters.

0-100km/h is achieved in only 4.3 seconds plus a top speed of 290km/h. With LED light all around, the Lotus Emira V6 First Edition is also fitted with the Lower Black Pack as standard, which includes a set of gloss black front bumper air blades, front splitter, side sills, and rear diffuser. Quite a nice look when paired with its titanium exhaust finisher.

This particular mid-engined sports car rides on a set of 20-inch ultra-lightweight V-spoke forged alloy wheels with a two-tone finish. The First Edition model also comes with two-piece brake discs as well as branded calipers and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Inside the cabin, future owners can expect a lot of usability from its many modern creature comforts such as:

Customers can choose between six colour options for now - Seneca Blue, Magma Red, Hethel Yellow, Dark Verdant, Shadow Grey and Nimbus Grey. More colours will be announced in 2022, which is also the year the Emira V6 will go into full production mode.
