Launched: Moto Guzzi V85TT – RM79,888*
Premium Italian motorcycle marque Moto Guzzi expanded its local line up last weekend following the launch of its latest offering, the Mot Guzzi V85TT.
Touted as a modern retro-styled enduro machine, the V85TT merges classic design with modern bones and heart, and the ability to conquer both the asphalt and the elements.
As with all Moto Guzzi machines, the V85TT is motivated by the brand’s signature transverse 90-degree V-Twin mill. Displacing 853cc, this particular unit powering the V85TT outputs 80hp and 80Nm to the rear wheel via a six-speed box and shaft-drive.
Enhancing the powertrain further are the presence of three selectable ride modes - Road, Rain and Off Road. Complementing that is the presence of a Continental-sourced ABS suite, a switchable traction control suite, modern suspension hardware, as well as a digital dash display.
Available for purchase now, local importer and distributor Didi Resources Sdn Bhd have set a basic retail price of RM87,888 for the V85TT finished in standard colour options, and RM89,888 for the V85TT finished in Evocative Graphics scheme.
However, the firm will initially offer the V85TT at a *special introductory price tag of RM79,888 for the standard colour options, but for a limited time only. Said pricing sees the new Italian retro adventurer stand as an alternative against things like the recently launched Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled and the Triumph Scrambler 1200 offerings.
