More than 1,300 units have been delivered to date

Honda Malaysia recently celebrated the very first owner of the all-new Honda HR-V, Nurul Hafida Binti Mhd Jais at the MJN Motors Sdn. Bhd. Dealership in Cheras, Selangor. 

Nurul Hafida, who purchased the HR-V RS e:HEV, was gifted with Honda accessories, Ultra Glass Body Coating for her vehicle, as well as official Honda merchandise valued at RM5,700 as a token of appreciation from Honda Malaysia to celebrate the milestone event.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura said, “The response we have received for the All-New HR-V has been overwhelming and we believe this new model will be sensational once again as it did in the past.” 

“Today, we are excited to deliver the All-New HR-V to the first owner, Ms. Nurul Hafida. In addition to this momentous occasion, Honda Malaysia has delivered over 1,300 units of the All-New HR-V within one month of its launch.” 

“We would like to take this opportunity to convey our sincere gratitude to all our customers for their continuous support to the Honda brand.”  

Nurul Hafida said, “I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that I was the first customer to receive the car. And what’s even more exciting is the additional surprise of receiving gifts from Honda! I am looking forward to taking my family out and about on my new ride.”

Redesigned from the ground up, the stylish all-new HR-V features full LED lights, sequential signal lights, as well as 18-inch alloy wheels.  

For the first time, the model now comes with 3 powertrains to offer more choices for customers based on their lifestyle and preferences. The 1.5L e:HEV system with Honda’s unique 2-motor hybrid system delivers 131PS of power and 253Nm of torque.

Customers also have the option of 1.5L VTEC Turbocharged Engine which delivers 181PS and 240Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.5L naturally-aspirated i-VTEC engine produces 121PS and a maximum torque of 145Nm.

Inside the cabin, the SUV features such leather upholstery, Sports Pedals, Dual Zone Auto Air Conditioning and Deceleration Selector Paddle. 

An 8-inch Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity comes standard in the model. Honda has also introduced the Air Diffusion System for better cooling circulation for all passengers. 

Another advanced feature is the Hands-Free Power Tailgate with Walkaway Close function, available in the RS variant. In this feature, the tailgate will close automatically when the driver moves away from the vehicle after the ‘Walkaway Close Switch’ is switched ON.

As an added value in protection for All-New HR-V customers, Honda Sensing, is made standard across all variants.
