Honda BR-V now comes in two new colours

Honda has added two new colour options for the BR-V - Meteoroid Gray and Ignite Red Metallic

Honda Malaysia announced today that the BR-V is now available in two new colour options called Ignite Red Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.

The two colours, which were first introduced on the new Civic followed by the City recently, will replace the existing Passion Red Pearl and Modern Steel Metallic colours respectively.  

Honda Malaysia’s CEO Hironobu Yoshimura said, “Honda Malaysia has introduced the Ignite Red Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic colours in our hatchback and sedan line-up, namely the All-New City Hatchback, City, and All-New Civic, while the Accord also offers the Meteoroid Gray Metallic colour.”

“These colours have been receiving good response from the market. In view of the good acceptance, we now continue to expand the new colours to the seven-seater Crossover, the BR-V.”

“The Ignite Red Metallic further elevates the attractiveness and bold appearance of the BR-V, while the Meteoroid Gray Metallic enhances its rugged look. We are confident that the introduction of the new colour options will further excite customers who would like to purchase the BR-V.”  

Since its launch in June 2020, the updated version of the BR-V has sold more than 5,700 units as of April 2022. According to Honda Malaysia, the encouraging sales performance is attributed to its overall design that meets customers’ needs for a stylish and versatile seven-seater.

Powering the Honda BR-V is is a 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC engine coupled with Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) that generates a maximum power output of 120 PS.

Key highlights of the Honda BR-V includes 223 litres of trunk space with all the seats up, multiple seat configurations, the 60:40 One Touch Tilt and Tumble function for the second row seats, and the 50:50 Tilt and Full Tumble function in the third row seats.

The BR-V is also fitted with Tweeter Speakers, Cargo Light, and a Cabin Filter. In addition, the V variant is further elevated by a seven-inch Display Audio system, leather seats and gear knob with red finishing, Auto Air Conditioning, Smart Entry, and the Push Start Button which is standard across the range.

That being said, the Honda BR-V is available in two variants, namely the BR-V 1.5L E and BR-V 1.5L V which are priced at RM86,726 and RM93,420 respectively.
