The latest Goodyear Assurance MaxGuard SUV tyres are now available in Malaysia with a host of updates and upgrades specifically designed for SUV vehicles. Developed with Goodyear's ActiveGrip and DuraGuard technology, the Assurance MaxGuard SUV tyres are said to have better overall performance in the wet as well as increased durability.

Starting with the ActiveGrip, the Goodyear Assurance MaxGuard SUV offering was designed to have better handling and braking performance, particularly in the wet. Goodyear has mentioned that this latest model comes with an improved grip compound plus a new tread design that is superior to the previous model offered for the SUV segment.

As for the DuraGuard Technology, this feature is highlighted via the tyre's two-ply construction together with a strong steel belt that offer better impact protection from road hazards such as potholes. The Goodyear Assurance MaxGuard SUV tyre is said to be less susceptible to cuts and punctures considering that SUVs are heavier in nature.

Those who are interested should know that there will be several sizes available for the Malaysian market from 16-inch up to 19-inch as well as a number of vehicle manufacturers in the country. Price-wise, the recommended selling price starts from RM375 a pop.
