Ducati strengthens presence in Malaysia with six new models, new dealers

The company also launched its own in-house financing program called Ducati Corse Credit

Ducati Malaysia recently unveiled not one or two, but six new models for the Malaysian market. In addition to the new models, the company also announced the addition of three new dealers as well as the introduction of Ducati Corse Credit which is Ducati's own financing program for its customers.

The six new models are:

Ducati Streetfighter V2

Ducati Streetfighter V2 - RM101,900

The all-new Streetfighter V2 is the new entry point into the Streetfighter family, which is powered by 955 cc 90° V2 Superquadro engine that produces 153 hp and 101.4 Nm of torque. 

The Streetfighter V2 also features Ducati’s Quick Shift technology, fully adjustable 43mm Showa Big Piston Fork (BPF) fork, fully adjustable side-mounted Sachs shock, Brembo Monobloc brakes, and Bosch Cornering ABS among other goodies.
 

Ducati Multistrada V2S

Ducati Multistrada V2S - RM105,900

Here to succeed the Multistrada 950, the all-new Multistrada V2S is powered by Ducati’s new and updated 937cc Testastretta 11°, L-Twin cylinder engine which delivers 113 hp and 96 Nm of toque. 

It also comes with Riding Modes, Power Modes, Ducati Safety Pack (Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control), Ducati Brake Light and Vehicle Hold Control, and gains the full electronics package with additional features that includes Ducati Cornering Lights, Ducati Skyhook Suspension Evo, Ducati Quick Shift, Cruise control, Hands-Free, Backlit handlebar switches, 5" TFT colour display and Full LED headlight.

Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss

Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss - RM136,900

The Panigale V2 Bayliss is a special version of the Panigale V2 designed to celebrate Troy Bayliss and the 20th anniversary of his first WSBK Championship. 

The motorcycle is equipped with Öhlins chassis components and dressed with a celebrative special livery inspired by the 2001 Ducati 996 R SBK with which Bayliss clinched his first ever World SBK title.

The bike sheds 3kg in kerb weight compared to the base model Panigale V2 weighing in at 197kg, has a wheelbase that is 2mm more at 1,438mm, a front wheel trail that gains an additional 5mm at 99mm, and a seat height that is 5mm lower at 835mm.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP - RM239,900

The Streetfighter V4 SP is the fastest naked model in the market with the best power to weight ratio for a motorcycle in its segment, pushing 208 hp and 123 Nm of torque.

The Streetfighter V4 SP is an exclusive numbered edition and comes fully-trimmed in “track oriented” equipment that mainly includes a STM-EVO SBK 9-discs dry clutch, Brembo Stylema callipers, and track oriented suspension front and rear suspension carried over from 2021 Panigale V4 S.

The Streetfighter V4S SP is also equipped with Marchesini forged magnesium wheels; carbon fibre wings; carbon fibre front mudguard; adjustable rider foot-pegs in billet aluminium by Rizoma; Ducati Quick Shift that can be configured both as a traditional shift and as a reversed/racing shift; and dressed in Ducati’s winter test livery that combines the matt black with the brightness of its brushed aluminium fuel tank.

Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard

The Scrambler Urban Motard is Ducati’s go-to the everyday urban assault bike but with a classy and sporty classic appeal. Standard equipment includes cornering ABS, a steel tank with interchangeable aluminium side panels, headlight with DRL by LED light-guide and interchangeable aluminium cover, LED rear light with diffusion-light, LED turn indicator, LCD instruments with gear and fuel level indications and interchangeable aluminium cover, and under seat storage compartment with USB socket.

The bike also features 17” inch spoked wheels, Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres, low variable section aluminium handlebar, a high front fender, side number plates, dedicated flat seat and exclusive graphics. The motorcycle is further detailed with
machine-finished aluminium belt covers and black engine with brushed fins.

Powered by an L-Twin air cooled 803cc engine, the motorcycle produces 73 Hp and a maximum torque of 66.2 Nm.

Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro

The Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro pays homage to the liveries of Ducati’s most iconic motorcycles of the 70s and in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Ducati air twin engine. 

Equipped with Ducati Safety Pack which includes cornering ABS and Ducati Traction Control (DTC), the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro also features a Brembo braking system, Marzocchi fully adjustable 45 mm usd fork and a progressive linkage rear suspension with Kayaba adjustable monoshock, LED light guide, LED rear light with diffusion light, LCD instruments with gear and fuel level indications, double side silencers, low licence plate holder, steel tank with interchangeable aluminium side panels, machinefinished aluminum belt covers, and underseat storage compartment with USB socket.

In addition to the six new models, Ducati Malaysia also launched the Ducati Corse Credit in-house financing program, offering customers an attractive interest rate from as low as 4.88% per annum, loan tenure of up to 7 years, a minimum
down payment of 10%, and faster approval rate. All models are covered under the program.
  
Last but not least, the company also announced the addition of the addition of two new Ducati Centres in Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur that complement the existing facilities in Sungai Buloh and Penang as well as Petaling Jaya.
