Covid-19: Selected Honda service centres allowed to reopen

By thoriq, 29 April 2020

Honda Malaysia is the latest car company to gain approval form the government to allow selected dealers and outlets nationwide to resume its after-sales efforts starting today.

Like we've seen over the past week or so, Honda Malaysia is subjected to the same restrictions the government have placed on other carmakers allowed to resume their after-sales efforts. These include operating at minimal staff capacities and restricted hours, as well as accepting customers by appointment basis only – no walk-ins allowed.

Apart from that, Honda Malaysia also noted that these selected dealer service centres are required to practice strict entry screening protocols such as temperature checks, dispensing of hand sanitizers, as well as strict crowd control to maintain safe social distancing.

While selected service centres are now allowed to resume operations, Honda Malaysia's dealer showrooms, sales offices and its manufacturing efforts are still halted for the moment as per the on-going and now extended Movement Control/Restriction Order (MCO/MRO) Phase 4.

Honda owners who wish to have their cars serviced will need to contact their respective dealers first to ascertain if they open and to set appointments. Refer to the image below for the full list of Honda service centres allowed to operate in the current MCO Phase 4.
