Hot off the heels of its 991.2 generation 911 GT3 RS, Manthey Racing has unveiled yet another tuned Porsche. Exciting times…

This time though, the German motorsport team has stepped away from the 911 and has instead turned its attention to the Cayman. Although it wasn’t about to throw out any old Cayman, was it? This is the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport “Trackday” MR. Phew.

As you can guess, it’s Manthey’s take on Porsche’s Cayman racecar. In order to retain its turn-key status though, the internals haven’t been touched. That means a 3.8-litre flat-six with 420bhp mated to a six-speed PDK paddleshift gearbox. Plenty.

What has changed is the weight. Yep, Manthey has managed to take 46 kilograms out of the Clubsport – an impressive achievement given that this was already a stripped-out racer.

The MR Performance Package brings new carbon fibre front and rear bumpers, as well as carbon wings, lightweight headlights, a polycarbonate windscreen, a lightweight battery and those glorious BBS wheels.

There’s also a front lip and diffuser made from organic natural fibres, which matches the material used for the doors and rear wing on the factory car.

To help you stand out on your trackday, Manthey will also throw in the black and white wrap that you see above.

The cost for all of this? Just under €150,000 (around RM727,360). Get in the queue…
