The Brabus 900 Rocket Edition is able to hit 330km/h with 900hp under the hood

The 2021 Monaco Yacht Show saw the unveiling of the new Brabus 900 Rocket Edition, and it is one hell of a beast. Based on the GLE 63, the Brabus 900 Rocket Edition has been labelled as the ‘world’s fastest street-legal SUV’ and for good reason as well - a 4.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood that produces 900hp and 1,250Nm of gut-wrenching torque!

Brabus claims that the 900 Rocket Edition is able to hit 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds and further extend to an electronically limited top speed of 330km/h. That’s a lot to sink in considering that those numbers are usually reserved for high-end supercars and certainly not SUVs. But that’s Brabus for you, a company that takes the GLE 63’s stock 4.0-litre V8 and slap on their special turbochargers as well as other parts to kick things up a few notches.

Only 25 units will be built based on the  Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ Coupe, and it comes with a lot of parts and specs to never let you forget that it’s a Brabus. We’re talking exposed-carbon aerodynamic-enhancement components,  24-inch Monoblock Z "Platinum Edition" forged wheels, carbon aero-discs, fully-customised leather interior in any colour you desire, plus many more.

Other noteworthy specs include:

  • Brabus stainless sport exhaust system with integrated flaps
  • Hi-tech material carbon bodywork components
  • Continental high-performance tyres
  • Brabus air suspension control module (drops the car’s overall height by 25mm)
  • "Superior Gray" paint finish
  • Race paddle shifters + more

For those living in Germany, you can cop one of your very own Brabus 900 Rocket Edition from 381,243 Euros, which is around the RM1.8 million mark. As stated above, only 25 units examples will be produced for global consumption, so you need to be quick if you wish to have this parked in your collection.
