Honda Malaysia has launched the 2022 Honda Odyssey imported straight from Japan

It's been a while since we've heard about the Odyssey, until today. Honda Malaysia has brought in the latest 2022 Honda Odyssey for the Malaysian market as a CBU model, and it comes with an enhanced exterior, updated interior, as well as advanced safety features.

Just a quick recap, the Honda Odyssey first made its global debut back in 1994 and it arrived on our shores sometime in 2003. Around 2,000 units of the seven-seater MPV were sold, and this new 2022 model will once again diversify the brand's overall offering here in Malaysia.

Exterior-wise, the 2022 Honda Odyssey can be seen sporting a new front grille paired with new LED headlights, positioning lights, and a new front bumper. The rear has also been refreshed with a new bumper and taillight design to offer a more premium look. It also comes with a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels as well as sequential signal lights for both front and rear.

The upgraded premium-ness theme flows into the interior with a new dashboard design that houses a new seven-inch ATFT meter and an eight-inch Advanced Display Audio system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available as standard.

As for the passengers, they can travel in more comfort thanks to the Captain Cradle Seats and Ottoman wrapped in combination leather for a more luxurious travel experience (if you're seating in the second row). These can be folded forward or backward to offer more flexibility for storage and transport.

Safety features come in the form of the Honda Sensing package which includes:

Honda Malaysia has priced the 2022 Honda Odyssey at RM275,311 (OTR price excluding insurance + sales tax exempted until 30 June 2022). For those who are interested, you can get one in three different colour options - Platinum White Pearl, Premium Twinkle Black Pearl, and Super Platinum Metallic.
