Scrambler Desert Sled + Hypermotard = 2022 Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard!

The second web episode of the Ducati World Premiere 2022 has unveiled two new additions for the Scrambler Ducati range - the 2022 Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard and the 2022 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO. Let's kick things off with the new kid on the block, the Urban Motard.

Designed to be fun, sporty, and energetic for the streets, the 2022 Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard is essentially what happens when a Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled wants to be a Hypermotard and roam the streets. At first glance, the first thing you'll notice are those 17-inch spoked wheels wrapped around some fat Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubbers (120/70 front, 180/55 rear) that completely makes the Urban Motard different from the rest of the 800cc Scrambler Ducati line-up.

Staying true to the Scrambler Ducati design elements, the Urban Motard also comes with a high front mudguard, side number plates, and a flat seat to further amp up its Motard-ness facade. Its 13.5-litre fuel tank comes ready with graffiti-style graphics and is finished in the Star White Silk/Ducati GP19 Red colour combo that was previously seen on the special edition Ducati Panigale V2.

Underneath all that urban-ness lies an 803cc L-Twin, Desmodromic distribution, air-cooled engine that churns out 73hp at 8,250rpm and 66.2Nm of torque at 5,750rpm. Just like the Nightshift and the Desert Sled, the Urban Motard also carries that double-barrel exhaust unit. Other notable features include Cornering ABS, Ducati Multimedia System, and of course, that unique front headlamp with DRLs. Unique? Indeed.
