Didi Resources Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Aprilia here in Malaysia, has officially launched the new 2021 Aprilia Tuono 660 for the local market. Based on the very exciting Aprilia RS 660, the Tuono 660 is essentially the little brother of the Tuono V4 1100 that offers lightweight performance and an exhilarating riding experience catered to all riders alike.

Designed for everyday riding, including some weekend 'spirited riding' fun, the Tuono 660 is a half-naked middleweight that comes with all the bells and whistles that you would find on the RS 660, including a set of aero-fairings on the side (with a more compact design to fit its naked and slightly slender features).

Aerodynamic-wise, the Tuono 660 is up there against the best in its class, and that is aesthetically amplified with its triple LED headlight, high handlebar, sleek exterior design, and a middlweight engine that has been receiving praises by a number of international media around the globe.

Equipped with a 660cc transverse parallel-twin engine, the Tuono 660 punches out around 95hp at 10,500rpm, which is 5hp less than its full-fairing sibling. The power shortage is made up thanks to its 183kg kerb weight and a slightly shorter gear ratio for better response and power delivery. Its 270° combustion timing also offers something that mimics the brand's iconic V4 engines.

Aprilia has stated that the Tuono 660 is a bike that can provide control, responsive handling, and agility throughout its rev range, especially when you look at all the electronic riding aids that have been fitted into the bike. The APRC electronic controls suite includes:

Didi Resources has priced the 2021 Aprilia Tuono 660 for the Malaysian market at RM77,900 (excluding insurance, road tax, and registration). So far, customers can only choose one colour option, which is Concept Black.
