There was no doubt in any way that the new Myvi was going to be a sales success, but 20,000 cars booked within a month since the order book was opened is still mighty impressive. That’s not a guess, that’s the official figure given by Perodua – and the company has delivered 4,500 of em’ too.

“The focus now is to ensure delivery of the All-New Perodua Myvi within an acceptable time frame. We thank the public for choosing the Myvi as the car of choice,” said Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd Managing Director, YBhg Dato’ Dr. Zahari Husin.

Mind you, the company does not want to overshadow the other compacts in their showrooms, so for this month, Perodua is offering a rebate of up to RM2,000 for the Axia, Bezza and Alza.

We bet the bean counters in Rawang are looking at some sweet numbers to end the year. As it is, the first 11 months of 2017 has seen a sales of 184,707 units, 1.2 per cent more than the same period last year (of 182,485 units).
