BR 05 Skeleton Nightlum: Bell & Ross's latest chassis goes dark
The BR 05 chassis that Bell & Ross first launched in 2019 can now be had in an alluring Skeleton Nightlum specification. As its name suggests, the timepiece's discreetly exposed back reveals the skeletonised manufacture movement, which in the BR 05's case, is a BR-CAL.322 mechanism wound by a 360-degree black PVD-coated oscillating weight.
Creating a striking contrast against the skeleton dial with smoked sapphire plate and black movement are indices filled with Super-Luminova C5 that emits a fluoroscent green shine in the dark. The hands are filled in the same, luminescent to emphasise the glow-in-the-dark effect. In fact, this marks the first time the Lum concept is applied to the BR 05.
The 40-mm Bell & Ross BR 05 Skeleton Nightlum's can be paired with either a metal bracelet or a black rubber strap for a more distinct blacked-out effect. Naturally, the latter is the more affordable of the two, retailing for RM26,100 in Malaysia. Buyers who prefer a bracelet will need to top up RM2,500, bringing the total cost up to RM28,600.
Only 500 pieces of this limited-edition timepiece will be made and pre-orders are already open on the watchmaker's official website.
