At the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, Nissan will reveal a proper, actual, real-life version of the car teased in the image above. It's going to be called Sway, and it's going to be small.

How small? Nissan describes the Sway concept as a 'small hatchback. So think a size below the Pulsar, aimed squarely at the likes of the Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall Corsa.

Though perhaps with a bit of the crossover about it. The plan, says Nissan, is to take the thinking behind Qashqai and Juke, and apply such "innovative design and product planning" to the smaller end of the marketplace, a sector also occupied by Nissan's own Micra. Judging by the teaser picture, this looks very much better than the Micra.

"The Nissan Sway Concept is a glimpse at how a future generation of small Nissan models could look if the company's striking new design language was applied to a European hatchback," says Nissan. We'll have more from the show floor as soon we get it.

Suitably teased?
